I think the forums might be being ignored, since it looks like they have been quickly overrun by gaming spam.

Sensei Joseph mentioned in this thread (April 10) that the videos were being edited, and I hope that's still the case.

However, as mentioned on the 'About Online Lessons' page, Sensei Joseph is currently focusing on teaching senior students and building up instructors.

Hopefully there will be white-to-black belt DVD or online lessons available soon.

i have been asking about videos for awhile now, i hope to get a answer back

do you folks havevideos yet or do i need to become a member ? i would like a response thx

Hi Yes you do need a partner making your training more practical whether its karate or jujutsu. The shinken jujutsu system is seen as a 'Gendai budo' (modern martial art) here in Japan. There are restraints, takedowns, chokes etc. which is better suited with a partner however online we found unique training assist methods to make these work whiles alone. Brazillian Jiu Jitsu would be hard to train alone one would think due to the emphasis on ground fighting but the Gracies seem to make it work online and alone. Furthermore nemerous Karate's striking techniques are extracts from jujutsu. Practise like karate, can be done with a partner or alone. Good luck with your training Wishing you the very best. Teaching for me ! This is more about my need to learn self defense techniques . I am learning shotokan karate aLeo I have no partner but it is doable! U always need a partner especially jujutsi!
